How My Life was Saved by Hiring a Toilet

A while back I was made the wedding planner for my sister’s wedding. mark attwood I consider myself pretty organised so I knew everything was in order with the marquee booked, the menus decided upon and all the RSVPs mailed back.
The morning of the wedding, I got a phone call from the groom who reminded me that I had ommited one small detail. There was no working toilets – big problem. mark attwood The groom told me that the toilets in the building by the marquee were out of order, the council had cut the water supply completely out of the blue. I found myself being in charge of an event where all our friends and family were due to arrive just after lunch, with nowhere to go to the loo. All the while I had to keep this a secret from the bride – I didn’t want her worried. Sneaking in and out of rooms desperately trying to sort out this disaster. A telephone directory was handed to me by my dad who told me to look under toilet hire. I had no idea you could hire toilets! A few phonecalls, and although a few weren’t able to deliver on the day, I managed to get a toilet hire company to send some chemical loos out to my sister’s wedding that day! It was really easy – I told them how many I wanted, the address and paid with a credit card. The toilet hire truck arrived within two hours, and after the driver had a good old laugh at my predicament, he placed them just where I wanted them. I could’ve kissed him! Thank goodness that the rest of the day ran flawlessly, everyone had a great time and my sister said it was the best day of her life. mark attwood And what with all the champagne my Dad had ordered in, that toilet hire came in very useful! I never told my sister about my toilet hire saga on her wedding day, I am just glad there was a toilet hire company out there who saved my life!
